The purpose of North Como Preschool is to supplement early home experiences in an environment planned to further each child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development as well as to develop a strong, positive self-concept through interaction with peers and supportive adults.

The preschool does not teach Christian theology as such, but it does encompass many Christian values such as loving one another and respect for all God’s creatures and creation. North Como Preschool is open to any child regardless of race, religion, or sex.

All teachers have degrees in education. Low teacher: student ratios

North Como Preschool is in session from September through May with the following classes:
4-5 year olds with the option of (child must be 4 yrs. on or before Sept. 30 to enroll):
   M,T,W,TH,F / M, W, F / or T,TH mornings 9:00-11:30AM

3 year olds with the option of (child must be 3 yrs. on or before Sept. 30 to enroll):
   M,T,W,TH / M, W/ or T,TH mornings 9:00-11:30AM

Non-refundable registration fee: $45

Tuition for 2010-2011 is $220.00 a month for 5 days a week, $200.00 a month for 4 days a week, $140.00 a month for 3 days a week, and $110.00 a month for 2 days a week.

Lunch Bunch is offered from 11:30AM-12:30PM. Children bring their own lunch and the preschool provides milk. An extra fee is charged for Lunch Bunch.

Scholarships are available.
